Pharmacokinetics

The way that hexarelin works is fairly well understood. Hexarelin is a synthetically engineered peptide that interacts with a certain type of receptors within cells, called ghrelin receptors.[1] These receptors, when activated, signal for the release of growth hormones. As hGH is released, it stimulates the release of other muscle building hormones and peptides. Essentially, hexarelin can potentiate the release of muscle forming proteins.[2]

Scientific Studies

Studies have monitored and documented the effects of hexarelin, specifically those related to its ability to produce heightened levels of hGH. A study in late 1997 indicated potential links between hexarelin and the desirable increase of hGH. Subjects, young adults, were observed after being administered doses of hexarelin. Findings indicated a link between it and higher growth hormone levels in the blood.[3]
